Tonga

Tonga ranks second most vulnerable country to natural hazards out of 172 countries. Despite this, the country has still limited warning dissemination capacity. As Tonga’s mobile telephone geographical coverage is about 92%, CREWS will assist in the development of a mobile app to disseminate and enable all mobile users to have direct access to warnings.
